The idea of the creator of this Khatam box was to craft harmony by using similar shapes, star polygonal, and colors while the order of colors used in each pattern gives unconformity to the design.  

Designing of this box is a highly elaborate process for its artist since in each cubic centimeter of inlaid work, up to approximately 250 pieces of bone, ivory and wood are laid side by side.
